Coffee is a delicate product, sensitive to light, air, heat and moisture. Packaging is therefore an essential factor for long-term preservation of quality and for ensuring food safety. Our Research & Development department is constantly committed to developing new solutions that combine product guarantee, innovation and eco-friendliness.

In particular, our experts focus on environmental impact. The LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) has been adopted as a technical/scientific tool to assess the environmental performance of materials used for packaging along the entire supply chain. The objective is to improve them from an ecological point of view, with the collaboration of various suppliers. Completing the department, there is a Materials Testing laboratory equipped with the most advanced technology to test the packaging materials.
