In the world of mixology, Dennis Zoppi is a giant. Originally from Cremona and an adopted son of Turin, his talent always finds a way to express itself.

Born in 1980 and a bartender since 1996, he was the owner of Smile Tree in Turin: a mixology laboratory, a magical lair with a counter rich in surprises and a forest of spirit bottles suspended in mid-air.

Dennis Zoppi was first inspired when he would visit the bar and tobacconist shop owned by the family of some of his friends, although his true introduction to coffee took place during his first course for barmen at the A.I.B.S. institute.

The teacher was, in fact, passionate about coffee bars; and, like all those who love their jobs, he never missed an opportunity to convey to his students his love for the raw material that he had unconditionally chosen.

So it was that Dennis Zoppi fell in love with the bar, the place where everything takes place cyclically, from morning to night and then starting over again.

They say that he is a man fascinated by excellence, who imposes no limits of any kind on himself and is always looking for something more, who aims to uncover highly refined details and facets.

For him, coffee is a precious ingredient because it is connected to all the intimate moments shared by those who drink it in company. Its smell awakens many memories, and even a little nostalgia, which may be why he likes it so much.

His art, Cocktail Design, is an entirely new one which has never existed before now.

Cocktail Design does not just mean creating something beautiful, capable of astounding: it is much more than that. It is multi-sensorial, it is about tastes, stories, wonder, scents, and more than ever it is an experience.

Dennis Zoppi is currently involved in training, consultancy and the creation of new products.
