Carlos Moyà and Toni Nadal continue their informal analysis of the main shots in tennis. This time, they’re focusing on the service.
“On the grass courts, it is a bit different because of the irregular bounce of the ball,” says Toni, “it's not like on clay, where it's almost better to throw out a kick service,” adds Carlos, whose service has always been one of his best shots.
The difference is all in the throw, which must be done by tilting the trajectory to the right, unlike the classic service. “This allows for an easier entry for the cutting shot.”
