Agassi's Diary

Clay Court

Andre Agassi retraces his experience at Roland-Garros with Lavazza, recalling his love/hate relationship with red clay. The 1990 and 1991 editions of the prestigious tournament saw a young Agassi repeatedly eliminated in the final. Only in 1999 was Andre to have his revenge.

Commitment, constant dedication and pursuit of perfection through attention to detail have allowed Andre Agassi to win that Grand Slam specifically: a hugely challenging one, due to his way of playing from the bottom of the court, making him one of the eight athletes capable of winning all four Grand Slam Tournaments: the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and the U.S. Open.

The journey that will bring us back to the most iconic and memorable moments of Andre Agassi's life is only at the beginning: the red clay of the Roland-Garros, where the last Grand Slam was conquered, is the ideal starting point to celebrate a champion who won everything, but still has a lot to tell.
