1984. A model enters a bar in London and orders something that can really wake her up: This is how the Espresso Martini was born. We’ll now revisit this recipe with the Training Centre’s addition of a traditional Piedmontese liqueur: the Frangelico.
Ingredients
  • 150 ml (8.4 fl oz) coffee
  • 30 ml (1 fl oz) vodka
  • 30 ml (1 fl oz) hazelnut liquor
  • 6 ice cubes
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 6 g (0.2 oz) chocolate
Preparation

Method

Prepare an espresso and add sugar. Place the ice, the sweetened coffee, the vodka and the Frangelico in the shaker. Shake well and pour the contents into a martini glass.

Presentation

Cut the chocolate in half and then use a knife to make an incision: use this to fit it on the rim of the cup.
