Espresso in space.
The result of a project between Lavazza and Argotec, the Italian engineering company specializing in the design of aerospace systems and a European leader in the preparation of food to be eaten in space, ISSpresso is the coffee machine that brings espresso to space, redefining the boundary between science fiction and reality. This allows astronauts to continue the ritual of authentic Italian espresso, even while in orbit.
Each capsule is a resource for the environment.
Lavazza and Novamont have worked together to create a capsule capable of turning into a resource for the environment once used. The new Lavazza compostable capsule feeds the culture of zero waste, where there is no waste because everything becomes an evolving continuum; at the end of its life cycle, the capsule becomes compost, a natural fertilizer for the soil.
